Umpires are needed for Provincial Towns event
THE Irish Indoor Bowling Assocation is appealing for any available umpires to officiate at the national short mat championships, staged at the Provincial Towns Club on Saturday. March 6 and 13.
“It would be much appreciated if any umpires could make themselves available for both days,” said Denis Connelly, who has handed over the responsibility to Wilbur Cockcroft, because of his health reasons.
“The national qualifiers are undoubtedly the highlight of the short mat season.
