Uni Volleyball Club scores ace

Local retailer Moores of Coleraine has announced a two year sponsorship deal with the Ulster University Volleyball Club.

The deal was officially launched on 31st May 2016 by Neville Moore, Managing Director of Ulster Stores, parent company of Moores of Coleraine and Catherine Murphy from the Ulster University Volleyball Club.

Commenting on the sponsorship, Neville Moore said: “As a retailer with close links to Ulster University and which offers a range of brands specifically for students including Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins, Oasis, Accessorize and Moda In Pelle shoes, Moores of Coleraine is delighted to sponsor volleyball at a community level.

“The game epitomises many of the skills and attributes we admire, competitiveness, discipline, a sense of fun and above all teamwork.

“We are delighted to partner with one of Northern Ireland’s fastest developing volleyball clubs and look forward to sharing in the excitement that it generates among its many supporters and followers in the forthcoming tournaments.”

The Ulster University Volleyball Club coaches up to 30 players each week and competes in a variety of National League, hosting matches, beach tournaments and social events throughout the calendar year.

Commenting on the sponsorship Catherine Murphy the Club Chairperson said: “The club is very pleased to secure this sponsorship deal and we are looking forward to a long and successful relationship with Moores.”

The club played in the first NI volleyball beach tour of of 2016 last month.
