Lagan Valley would appear to be safe from relegation from NIBA Division Five following this 34.75 shots away win over First Ballymac, from which they took all seven points.

At the tenth George Murdoch was 14-4 ahead and 17-12 up at 15 ends but he had to battle for a two shots win.

Jim Kinkead won 12 of the first 13 ends to lead 26-2 and Valley stayed in control to win by 18 shots.

At the tenth Jim Parkinson was 16-6 ahead but slipped to 14-11 by 15 ends before winning by 7.75 shots.

Jeff Fawcus always held the edge against a three man rink and after quartering won by seven shots.
