Venues finalised for Milk Cup

THE 30th anniversary Milk Cup tournament will give football fans throughout Northern Ireland the opportunity to see some of the best young players on the planet - right on their doorsteps.

County Down’s Juniors kick-off the competition against multiple-winners Everton, in what is sure to be a terrific opening challenge at Parkway in Comber on Saturday, 21st July.

Later that same day, the County Down Premier team go head-to-head with Etoile Lusitana from Senegal - champions in 2010.

Both squads then depart for the North Coast for the remainder of the Milk Cup. The official opening ceremony takes place on Sunday, 22nd July, with the competition concluding on Thursday, 26th July, in advance of the start of the London Olympics.

Junior fixtures: Saturday, 21st July - Co.Down v Everton at Parkway, Comber (3.00pm); Monday, 23rd July - Co.Down v North Dublin Schools at Rugby Avenue Stadium, Coleraine (1.30pm); Tuesday, 24th July - Co.Down v Queen of the South at Roe Mill, Limavady (noon).

Premier fixtures: Saturday, 21st July - Co.Down v Etoile Lusitana at Parkway, Comber (5pm); Monday, 23rd July - Co.Down v Bolton at Coleraine Showgrounds (3.30pm); Tuesday, 24th July - Co.Down v Revo Express at Rugby Avenue Stadium, Coleraine (5pm).
