Villa wins at Prehen

TWELVE handicapper Peter Villa took the opportunity of Open Week's first competition, the heavily supported Platinum Gym Open, to show that his game has matured on the back of fine performances for Prehen's Ulster Cup team.

Peter showed everyone a clean pair of heels as he stormed home with a 62 Nett to grab first place.

Kealan Quigg’s superb 67 Nett of a handicap of 1 was just enough to grab second place with a Best Gross score. The ever consistent Iain Anthony (4) puit in yet another fine performance to lift 3rd spot and Colin Jeffery (6) built on recent swing improvements to take fourth spot with a Nett 69. Ron Grieve (16) took the front nine with a 34 Nett and George Jackson (12) will collect the prize for the best second nine at the Prize Presentation of Wednesday Night June 2nd at 8.30pm.
