Wallace Park all set for Lisburn Mile

THE Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile comes to Lisburn on Sunday 25th March and this year, the year of the Olympics, is guaranteed to be special. There are already a huge number of people entered as well as a host of fun activities organised for the day.

Wallace Park is the setting for the City of Lisburn Mile and is set to be an incredible event. All the money raised by the public will help people living unimaginably tough lives right here on our doorstep, across the rest of the UK and in some of the world’s poorest countries.

The event starts at 11.30am and participants can choose their own distance, from 1, 3 or 6 miles, and can complete it in any way they fancy. From teeny tots with their mums and dads, to super sprinters up against the clock, there’s something for everyone on the big day. There will be a bouncy castle, a bungee run and face painting between 11am and 2pm for all the family to enjoy!
