SCARVA’S reserve team completed a league double over Glenavy Reserves with a well deserved victory on a difficult pitch in Moira on Saturday.

The goals came from leading Reserve team scorer Gary Dodds and player manager Mo Brown.

The first team’s scheduled home game was postponed as a mark of respect for Diane Hoey, whose funeral was held in the village on Saturday.

Diane was an immensely courageous, caring and truly inspirational woman. The club’s deepest sympathies are extended to Diane’s husband Sam, her brother Phillip, both former Scarva players, and indeed all her family and many friends.
