It has been a fantastic season all round for Ciaran and the members of CECC congratulate him on all of his achievements and wish him every success in the future. It is hoped Ciaran’s achievement’s and performances can inspire other youth and senior riders at the club to achieve their full potential in the near future.

While Cahoon’s success can be attributed to his own personal hard work, dedication and perseverance on and off the bike, Ciaran would be the first to admit his achievements are also a reflection of the great work being done on the ground and behind the scenes by the clubs youth cycling coach, Michael Murray Senior.

Michael has been at the forefront of youth cycling talent identification, development and achievement for many years now and that looks set to continue with the latest crop of youngsters that are currently being trained and developed at the local cycling club.

Anyone interested in joining Clann Eireann Cycling Club (Youth/Senior) are advised that club runs/spins leave Clann Eireann Gaelic Football Club on Lake Street every Saturday morning at 9.30am with routes and paces to suit everyone. Please make sure bikes are in good working order and helmets must be worn.
