West Down and Armagh raise £2,700 for charity

The annual charity match between the West Down and Armagh Zone Teams took place on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th October in Poyntzpass RBL Hall.

Once again, it was not to be for either West Down Zone Men or Women’s Teams as the Armagh squad proved to be very strong opposition.

However, both games were played in friendly and competitive atmosphere and all players should be congratulated as a magnificent sum of £2,700 was raised over the weekend to be shared between the Southern Area Hospice and the Ronald McDonald Charity.

Lists of Registered Players, Capitation fees and Zone fees are now WELL OVERDUE please forward to the Zone Treasurer Beth Wilson ASAP. IIBA fees to be forwarded to IIBA Treasurer before end of October.
