West Down Juniors shine in Belfast
Congratulations to the West Down Zone Juniors who made a valiant effort at the recent two rink junior competition held at Shaw’s Bridge IBC, Belfast.
The Juniors faced tough opposition in the round robin section as they played Mid Tyrone in the first game and Armagh in the second. Unfortunately for them though, it just wasn’t to be for the West Down Juniors on the day. They put in a very impressive performance and it was a very proud day for all involved.
The two rinks entered consisted of Jamie Henry (Poyntzpass), Luke Donaldson (St Patrick’s), Ragav Gupta (Dromore NS), Aiden Magennis (St John’s) and Farren Bolton (All Saints), Lara Rainey (St Colman’s), Dylan Cruickshank (Dromore NS) Chloe Wilson (St Colman’s).
Well done again to all eight players involved and further practice sessions will be arranged in the near future.
