Wet conditions for finals day at Ballymoney club

LAST Saturday Ballymoney Bowling Club held its Finals Day in rather damp and drizzle weather but those present watched some very good bowling in all the various events.

The President, Jackie Fall, in welcoming all to the presentation of cups and prizes in the Social Room in the evening congratulated all those who had played through to finals day.

The results were as follows:

Ladies Championship of the Green: Winner - Miss A.Hunter, runner-up - Miss B.McKee

Murdock Cup: Winner - Mrs MJ Campbell, runner–up - Miss B McKee.

Ladies Pairs Cups: Winners - Mrs A Smith and Mrs M Shaw, runners-up Miss N Shiels and Mrs B Logue.

Men’s Championship of the Green: Winner - K Carson, runner-up - RJ McBride.

Rank Cup: Winner - WJ McCaw, runner-up - A Carson.

Agnew Cup: Winner - MT Smyth, runner-up - C Brogan.

Spillers Cup: Winner - A Carson, runner-up - RJ McBride.

E Doherty Shield: Winner - S Hemphill, runner-up - R Simpson.
