Whites drawn at home in semis

Lisburn Distillery have been drawn at home to Ballymena or Crusaders in the last four of the Co-operative Insurance Cup.

The Whites secured their place in today's draw by beating Newry City 3-1 on Tuesday night thanks to goals from Gary Liggett (2) and Mark Patton.

The Ballymena/Crusaders tie will be played on Tuesday, January 18 with the winners going to New Grosvenor for the semi-final on February 1.

"It's a good draw - especially as we have the home advantage," said boss Tommy Wright. "We have a great chance to reach the final, but then whoever we play will feel likewise."
