Wilson the winner at Brown Trout
THE 18 hole sweep at the weekend at Brown Trout Golf Club was played in good conditions resulted in high scoring.
David Wilson (20) eased to a comfortable victory with a clear three point advantage over the runner-up. Davy opened with a front nine of 21 points before adding another 22 scoring at every hole!
In second place Tom Boyd (7) returned 18 points after nine before reeling off nine straight pars giving him a further 22 to end with 40.
Third prize went to Johnnie Kearns (9) with nines of 19 and 20 for 39 points. Johnnie scooped the twos kitty with the only two in the competition scored at the difficult 2nd. hole.
