Win ends friendly games
LURGAN Celtic continued their build up to the new season with a friendly against Portadown outfit Bourneview.
In the end it was a comfortable win for the Hoops with Pol Smyth, Marty Connolly, Ciaran McEvoy and Darren Fox on the scoresheet in a 4-1 win.
Next up for Ciaran O'Kane's men is the first league game of the new season away to Queens this Saturday, August 7, with a 3pm kick off.
As always it will be a tough match against the students and the Hoops’ manager will be hopeful of getting a number of key players back from injury and other comittments.
