Wins for neighbouring clubs on Sports Bond

SPORTS Bond members over the years have included many sportspeople from around the area and beyond.

This week Wakehurst FC stalwart and long-standing Sports Bond member Ian Gregg (B3056) was a major 50 winner.

Ian is a yearly payer and we send him our congratulations and best wishes to Wakehurst for the new season.

For the third week in a row, Patricia Thompson had a 50 winner. Just like Ian, it was an official of another sports club, Carniny Youth, with Michael Scroggie (C8287) scooping the 50 prize.

Jordan Henry (C5090), currently in America, was a 50 winner at the Fairhill Bar in Ahoghill.

Our only female 50 winner this week was Moira McNeill (C8736) on the agency of Luke Gaston. Uniquely, all the last three winners had numbers prefixed by the letter C.

In the minor section, a double for Geoff Cooke with Tanya Ford and June Bell (A6414). Leslie Kinnear had a 10 winner with J McAuley and Davy Creighton had a 10 win with Robert Gibson (A4180).

Janice Crawford had a double consolation win with father William Douglas and partner Andy Asquith.

No jackpot was allocated with numbers 7, 8, 24 and 27and the jackpot now stands at 250 for this week.

A new agent has come on board this week with an existing member, Timothy Turton, bringing in friends and family.

Timothy is a big Ballymena fan and believes this will be an excellent season.

After the results at Linfield and Portadown, he might be right. Welcome to Timothy.
