Winter League fourth round

The fourth round of the winter league took place at Islandderry Fishery, Dromore on Saturday.

It was one of the worst days of the league weather wise with heavy rain and strong winds but anglers braved the forces and were rewarded by the lake fishing extremely well with a lot of trout being caught and a good number between 5lb and 8lb mostly on buzzers and nymphs.

Bill Johnston, Lurgan took first place in this round with his 3 fish bag of 13lb10 which included a lovely 6lb4 fish giving him 10 points which brought him up into second place overall in the league.
