Withers marks comeback with a goal

Larne Ladies will enjoy their Christmas break after Saturday’s 3-0 Senior 1 win over Civil Service.

The local side dominated the first half but were unable to turn their possession into goals, such was the form of the NICS keeper.

The second half was atogether different affair as Larne rattled home three without reply. They came out determined and were rewarded with the opener when Laura Withers marked her return to the 1st XI after a year out with a knee injury with the breakthrough goal.
