“Last weekend’s event was fantastic and, thankfully, both competition days saw the sun, which showed off our wonderful lakes in all their glory,” said the Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, Councillor Daryn Causby. “It is not often that we have a World Championships on our doorstep and it was truly a remarkable experience that I won’t forget.
“The fishing was simply outstanding and I know that the visiting nations were extremely impressed at the facilities on offer as well as of the entire area.
“We were proud to show all that Craigavon has to offer and have no doubt they will remember their trip with fondness.”
