Young people encouraged to get active in New Year

Following the end of the Christmas holidays, Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council have an exciting catalogue of Sport and Recreation activity programmes.

This New Year’s ‘Get Active, Stay Active’ programme offers young people something that is sure to cater for their specific requirements and individual needs.

The programme comprises of the Activ8 Wildcats Club (now running on Wednesdays from 4:30pm until 5:15pm), Bambinos (football coaching for 4 to 11 year olds), Saturday Morning Live Sport & Recreation Club, Causeway Junior Netball, Coleraine Junior Hockey, Coleraine West Table Tennis Hub, Coleraine Cougars Special Olympics Basketball Club, IFA Coleraine Strikers Disability Football Club, Portballintrae Bambinos and Causeway Coast Volleyball Club. Finally, new for 2016 are the Introduction to Cricket sessions and Causeway Trampoline Club.
