Youth Academy sides prepare for new year

PRE-SEASON preparations are well are underway at Ballymena United Youth Academy, as they look to carry on from the trophy winning successes of last season.

The Academy plans to hold an open day at the end of July, watch press for details, and are always on the look out for new talent.

The Training Open Day will give existing parents and children the opportunity to meet team coaches and officials as they set out their stall for the incoming year.

More importantly however it will give those who haven't been involved before the chance to come and find out what goes on at the Showgrounds based Youth set up.

With a new committee in place there is a real impetus within the Academy to carry the good work done by those that have gone before.
