Youth round-up

BANBRIDGE Rangers had four teams in action in Banbridge on Saturday morning with wins for all teams in their respective age groups.

The U8s got the ball rolling in the small sided games at Cheney Park with games against Portadown, Loughgall and Banbridge Town.

The U12s followed the U8s at Cheney Park and defeated Tandragee Rovers 4-1 with Josh Lyttle scoring a hat-trick and Luke Brown adding the other goal.

The U14s were on Cheney Park at 12pm and secured a 3-2 victory with Bradley Harper getting a brace and Danny McCallen scoring a late winner to move into the Semi Finals off the Mid Ulster Cup.

The U10s took on Dromore Amateurs at Havelock Park and came out winners by the odd goal in three with Lee Chapman and Eddie Tucker grabbing the Gers goals.

A new U9 team will take on Moneyslane this Wednesday evening and with two other new teams prepped to go for next season the future is looking bright at Banbridge Rangers.
