Zero to Giro still on track for pupils

Having taken a well earned break over the Easter holidays the pupils from St Patricks and St Brigids Primary School, Ballycastle, will continue with the “Challenge 200” set by Freddie Forte himself at the start of April.

He challenged the kids to cycle the distance of Stage 2 of this year’s Giro d’Italia which will pass through Ballycastle on Saturday 10th May 2014.

Tickets can still be bought from the teachers at the school up until Friday 8th May. All children will be in with a chance of winning one of the 2 bikes that have been donated by the PTA committee and Halfords, Coleraine.

There are also loads of other prizes up for raffle so don’t forget to buy a ticket. It is hoped that the Challenge 200 will be completed by Friday 9th May.
