A celebration of John Denver

The Theatre at the Mill will be hosting a special evening on Friday October 7 when they will be paying tribute to John Denver.

‘A Celebration of John Denver’ will take you on a magical journey through the musical career of John Denver, featuring popular hits such as Annie’s Song, Leaving on a Jet Plane, Rocky Mountain High and of course Take Me Home Country Roads.

Throughout his career John Denver racked up an impressive 41 albums, two Grammy Awards, three American Music Awards, two Country Music Association Awards, one Academy of Country Music and one Emmy Award, alongside a staggering NASA Public Service Medal, whilst Rocky Mountain High was declared as the official state song for Colorado in 2007.

One of the first artists to sell over 10 million copies alone for his ‘Greatest Hits’ album in 1973, John Denver is a unique artist who has inspired a generation.

Releasing over 300 songs and penning some of American Folk Rocks most memorable hits - he is a true musical legend.
