Country Ladies at Magherabouy

'˜Country Ladies of the Moment' is an exciting live country music show featuring some of Ireland's finest and experienced female voices on the country scene at the moment, and it will be coming to the Magherabouy in Portrush on Friday October 21.

With a mix of American and Irish, old standards and new classics the show features, the hugely talented Kathy Crinion, stunning new star Lauren McCrory, Ireland’s own Dolly Angela Reid, wonderful pocket rocket Kerry Fearon and the powerhouse that is Angeline backed by a live band.

The girls have put together a wonderful live show that really showcases their exceptional talent. They will take you on a musical journey before sending you home wanting more as they join forces for a real Country hoedown.

In their own right the girls from all over the Country are stunningly talented vocalists and entertainers. Together they are magical.

Lauren McCrory is the baby of the show, but don’t be fooled, this young Tyrone lady has one of the most cultured voices in Irish music.

A born entertainer Lauren has vast stage craft and will capture your heart with her wonderful singing and bubbly personality. She has enjoyed some wonderful success with her debut single ‘Redneck woman’.

Kathy Crinion is one of the Country’s best kept secrets. Hailing from Meath, Kathy’s album ‘Lovin what I do’ was RTE Radio 1 ‘Album of the Week’, as well as being ‘Album of the Week’ on nine Danish Radio stations. She is a wonderfully talented singer songwriter.

Angela Reid needs no introduction. A contestant on TG4 Glor Tire, she has been a hugely popular country singer for many years. Bubbly and down to earth she has been described as Ireland’s Dolly Parton. She has several top selling albums and singles behind her, and is capable of a real hand clapper or Irish classic.

Kerry Fearon has just exploded on the scene. From County Down, this wonderful young lady has made massive strides in the business. Her debut single ‘What would Dolly do’ was a hit and, after being a finalist on Glor Tire, Kerry now presents on Downtown Country and Keltic TV. Talented and vibrant you will enjoy her set.

Angeline is back on the scene after taking a break to raise her family. From Tyrone, she is known for her powerhouse vocals she proved a popular ‘go to’ for producers to use as a backing vocalist. She’s back and steps out front again and is really excited about the tour.

The girls are backed by The Country Boys Band and the show features a full two hour show that really will showcase the talents of the girls.

There are plans for a Christmas Country Ladies tour, with a further Irish and UK tour in the Spring.

Tickets for the Portrush show are on sale now.
