Deadlights farewell show

On Friday February 24 SONI (Sounds of Northern Ireland) will host their first '˜weekend special' at Hague's Bar in Lisburn, and it's going to be a very special night for a number of reasons.

Firstly, SONI is celebrating nine years of gigs in the city and they would like to thank everyone who has played their part over the years.

Most importantly, this is your last chance ever to catch the mighty Deadlights live.

Deadlights are a long-standing Lisburn alt-rock institution. They are calling it a day after nine years together and they’re going out in style.

Every paying punter will receive a brand new Deadlights EP on the night to mark the occasion,

There are also two newcomers on the bill.

Vokxen are a fantastic all-girl outfit who deal in dark synth-pop and electro, with great vocals and tunes.

Mosa are a Co.Down progressive alt-rock band with hugely impressive songs and arrangements.

And Lisburn’s own guitar troubadour Marc Leach will kick the night off with an instrumental set.

Doors open at 8.30pm and admission is £5.

Come down and support live music in the city for what promises to be a great night out.
