Projects to benefit from Lottery cash

A NUMBER of services in the Southern Health Trust area are to benefit from Lottery ‘Good Cause’ funding totalling £1,340,305.

Eight projects in total have been awarded grants to tackle a range of health issues dealing with alcohol misuse.

The funding is part of a major £7 million investment by the Big Lottery Fund through its ‘Impact of Alcohol’ programme which aims to reduce the harm caused to individuals, families and communities in Northern Ireland who are directly affected by alcohol misuse.
