Twilight Nights brings autumn magic to Lisburn

Two magical evenings of illuminated displays, enchanting characters and family-friendly entertainment brought over 10,000 visitors to Lisburn's Twilight Nights 2026.

Organised by Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, the popular two-night spectacular event transformed Lisburn's Wallace Park into a mesmerising illuminated wonderland, creating opportunities for families to make memories and experience the magic of autumn together.

This year's event offered two distinct evenings, each carefully curated to provide a unique and enchanting experience for everyone.

A dedicated Relaxed Twilight Night took place on Wednesday October 21, as a gentler experience for visitors who may be sensitive to noise or crowds.

The main Twilight Night on Thursday October 22 provided visitors with an evening of high energy and pure excitement, beginning with a mesmerising lantern parade led by renowned drummers SPARK! and attended by Deputy Mayor of Lisburn & Castlereagh, Alderman Aaron McIntyre, and Chair of the Communities and Wellbeing Committee, Alderman Sharon Lowry.

The two-night event formed part of the council's Halloween programme of seasonal activities, bringing people together to enjoy memorable experiences within the local area.
