Van's the man to headline blues fest

The picturesque town of Warrenpoint is once again set to be awash with the world's leading blues and jazz performers as it hosts the 18th International Guinness Blues on the Bay Festival from May 25-30.

The festival, sponsored by Diageo, attracts thousands of music loving tourists with many coming from across the world to attend the renowned festival.

Headlining the six day event will be Northern Ireland’s very own Van Morrison who will play two very special concerts at Warrenpoint Town Hall on May 29. Tickets for both concerts are sure to be popular given the intimate surroundings and the glowing reviews last year’s concerts received. The proceeds of both Van’s concerts will be donated to Southern Area Hospice Services.

The 18th International Guinness® Blues on the Bay Festival is jam-packed with artists from across the globe and closer to home.

There are over 90 free events taking place across the festival, with a range of international artists and those closer to home including Fermanagh’s very own Pat McManus, Belfast’s Rab McCullough and Crow Black Chicken.
