5. Lough Neagh
The largest freshwater lake, and lake drive, in the UK & Ireland, Lough Neagh, is shrouded in the legend and mystery of Finn McCool.
The Lough Neagh route is totally accessible via car, and the circular passage makes for the perfect road trip across five of the six Northern Irish counties.

6. Causeway Coastal Route
The renowned Causeway Coastal Route normally begins in Belfast and ends in Derry / Londonderry, making it the perfect way to explore the coastlines of Northern Ireland whilst stopping off along the way. Following the thrilling coastal roads of Ireland, the drive takes you along the Glens of Antrim, the Giant's Causeway and Rathlin Island, before making its final stop at the walled city.

7. Ards Peninsula, Co Down
Often overlooked, the Ards Peninsula drive is one of the best that Northern Ireland has to offer, with plenty of sparkling coastline to discover along the way. Only 10 miles from Belfast, the Ards Peninsula runs from the North to South, beginning in Newtownards.

8. The Sperrins, Co Tyrone
The Sperrin Mountains are Northern Ireland’s largest mountain range and An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering a rural and unspoilt natural landscape that is ideal for anyone wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Accessible via four main driving routes, ranging from 50 to 90 miles, visit The Sperrins to immerse yourself in the mythology and history of the island.
