5. Explore Botanic Gardens
Botanic Gardens is one of Belfast’s most iconic parks found in the Queen’s Quarter of the city, having been established in 1828 by the Belfast Botanic and Horticultural Society It houses tropical plants, giant bird feeders, a rose garden, an alpine garden, mature trees, flower beds and sculptures as well as a palm house and a newly refurbished tropical ravine.

6. Follow the Glass of Thrones Trail
To celebrate 10 years of Game of Thrones being filmed in Northern Ireland, Tourism Ireland commissioned six stained glass windows that depict iconic scenes from the series that now make up a permanent trail in Belfast city centre. 7. Delve into history at the Ulster Museum
The Ulster Museum is a treasure trove of history and art from NI and beyond, and best of all it is completely free, with interactive stations and rooms where kids can actively explore history and art. Kids and adults can explore ancient and modern history from the Egyptians to the Spanish Armada and wander through the various art galleries on offer.

8. Tour Belfast City Hall
Belfast City Hall is one of Belfast’s most glorious architectural beauties, offering free guided tours and a self-guided visitor exhibition. The building, which opened in 1906, features several stained glass windows, a grand staircase and the Whispering Gallery in the building’s central dome.
