An Ards and North Down takeaway has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Jo Jo's Chippy, a takeaway at 16a New Road, Portavogie, Down was given the maximum score after assessment on April 28, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Ards and North Down's 120 takeaways with ratings, 59 (49%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
