New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Derry City and Strabane’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Derry City and Strabane’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Fortune House, at 1a Lenamore Road, Shantallow, Londonderry, Londonderry was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on April 12.

And Turkish kebab and pizzeria, at 1a Marlborough Terrace was also given a score of four on April 12.

It means that of Derry City and Strabane's 131 takeaways with ratings, 74 (56%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
