Food hygiene ratings given to two Mid and East Antrim takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Mid and East Antrim’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Mid and East Antrim’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Merchant Fish Bar, at 41 Linenhall Street, Town Parks, Ballymena, Antrim was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 9.

And Khyber, at 10 Bridge Street, Town Parks, Ballymena, Antrim was given a score of one on June 9.

It means that of Mid and East Antrim's 125 takeaways with ratings, 89 (71%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
