A big round of applause for the Playhouse

Do you have a special memory of The Playhouse?

Are you a fan of their work? Maybe you want to contribute to local arts?

Or maybe you just want to become more involved?

The theatre’s announced a very special way to do all these things - with The Playhouse Applause Club.

Friends and supporters of The Playhouse can make a lasting difference - making a vital contribution to the theatre’s work.

Mayor Brenda Stevenson has been made an honorary member of the Applause Cub, and as its first member helped launched this scheme this week.

Supporters will receive invitations to special events, openings, and meet and greets with the cast of our productions, and get access to priority booking, exclusive news, events and show announcements before anyone else.

They will also get access to flash ticket offers, production programmes, and a free ticket when you introduce a new friend.

But most importantly, supporters get the opportunity to support The Playhouse.

Last month, the theatre also launched a custom metal pin to help patrons show their support for their work. Aimed to raise awareness and promote the theatre, the pins are available at The Playhouse Box Office with a suggested donation of £2 each.

“The Playhouse is committed to delivering creative, innovative and accessible arts, theatre and education to the community,” Jessica Caldwell, Theatre Manager at The Playhouse said.

“The money members pay towards the Applause Club will go directly into funding and expanding this work. We want to our supporters to open our big red doors to extraordinary theatre experiences, while giving a little something back to the local arts. And membership is also the perfect gift for any theatre lover!”

Applause Club membership is only £25 a year or only £10 for students. Join today or buy membership for a loved one by contacting The Playhouse on (028)71268027.
