Easter art sale

The sale will be at the Distillery on Easter Saturday (10:30am - 5pm) Easter Sunday (12 noon - 5pm) and Easter Monday (10:30am - 5pm).

A spokesperson explained: “We anticipate that this will be a well supported event that will benefit a very worthwhile and valued local cause. Everything that we raise will be matched pound for pound by Diageo which we hope will amount to a four figure sum but this is only achievable if we can mobilise support for the event which we hope you will assist us with.

“There will be art available by some very well known local artists including Harry McMahon, Edith McClelland, Antoine Hardyway, J. P. Rooney, Michelle Carlin, Nigel Allison, Donal McNaughton, David Overend and many more.

“We would welcome works from other established artists who would wish to be involved who can contact me directly. At the present time we have over 100 pieces going into the sale.”
