Electricity contract for JDLC
BALLYMONEY Borough Council has agreed to award PowerNI the electricity contract for the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre.
Five companies were invited to tender, with four being returned within the agreed time frame from Airtricity, Electric Ireland, Energia and PowerNI.
A Ballymoney Borough spokesman said at a recent meeting: “Of the four companies who returned tenders the most competitive tender was recieved from PowerNI as they demonstrated the most competitive price over the various time bands during which the leisure centre operates.
“It is recommended that the contract be awarded to PowerNI for the supply of electricity to the Joey Dunlop Centre for one year.”
