Haslem Hotel looks forward to welcoming customers

One of the city’s newest businesses, the Haslem Hotel, which is based in Lisburn Square, opened its doors in the heart of the city in September 2020.

It was a difficult time to open the city centre hotel and as the pandemic swept the country, the owners were forced to close the doors.

With the latest announcement from the NI Executive that the hospitality sector can reopen in the coming weeks, The Haslem Hotel is looking forward to welcoming both residents and visitors to Lisburn.

Conall Wolsey, director of Beannchor, Northern Ireland’s leading hospitality group, which owns the Haslem Hotel, said: “In line with Executive guidelines, as of April 30, we’ll have an outdoor bar in operation at Haslem at Lisburn Square, offering al fresco drinks, coffee, sweet treats and light bites. Then from May 24 onward, we’ll hopefully receive the green light to re-introduce indoor dining, cocktails and overnight stays.

“Despite last year being a challenging time to open a hotel, the people of Lisburn were incredibly supportive in the short time we were open and we’re really looking forward to opening our doors to them once again for the full Haslem experience.

“Now more than ever, we’re committed to the role we can play in a new era for Lisburn City Centre, encouraging locals to stay local, enjoy what’s on their doorstep and support all the independent shops, cafes and high street stores as we all look to bounce back from the impact of the pandemic.”
