Co Antrim: Road reopens after NIFRS tackles large shed fire at Seven Mile Straight

Motorists are advised the Seven Mile Straight, which was closed earlier on Tuesday (November 3) at the junction of Ballyutoag and Carn road in Nutts Corner due to a property on fire, has now reopened.

Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) crews responded to the incident, which was reported at 12.20pm, with seven appliances in attendance at the height of the blaze.

A NIFRS spokesperson said: “Firefighters were called to reports of a large shed on fire at Seven Mile Straight, Nutts Corner, Crumlin, Antrim.”

Diversions were in place and people were urged to avoid the area at the time.
