Kevin McCloud road trips along Causeway Coastal Route in new Channel 4 series
TV presenter and Grand Designs star Kevin McCloud has swapped architectural plans for a road map in a series airing on Channel 4 – and he took a detour to the Causeway Coast.
Kevin McCloud's Classic Car Road Trips takes viewers on a journey behind the wheel of some iconic classic cars in the countries where they were designed and built.
Northern Ireland takes centre stage in episode three when viewers see Kevin being handed the keys to a DeLorean DMC-12 and setting off along the Causeway Coastal Route for a journey rich in history and breathtaking scenery.
Julie Wakley, Tourism Ireland’s Head of GB, said: "Northern Ireland is home to the iconic Causeway Coastal Route, making it, in our opinion, the perfect place for a road trip in a DeLorean.
"We are thrilled that viewers across GB will be able to join Kevin on this journey and, no doubt, be inspired to come and take their own road trip around Northern Ireland.”
