New Moira music school has got rhythm

AN exciting new business venture is set to open its doors in Moira, with the launch of a brand new music school for all ages.

‘I Got Rhythm’ is the brainchild of renowned Moira based musician, Sean Randle. Previously a professional musician in London, Sean now leads classes and workshops with schools and community groups across Northern Ireland.

Sean, who is best known for his involvement on the London Jazz and World Music scene, said: “Since relocating to Moira, I’ve been impressed with the musical talent and dedication of the many young people I’ve had the pleasure to teach.

“This new Music School will provide a new learning environment where aspiring musicians of all ages can come to explore their talent, under the guidance of skilled professionals.

“Our team of experienced musicians will specialise in instrumental tuition, including guitars, drums, woodwind, brass, singing, keyboards and strings, group workshops and band mentoring. We can guide you or your child through exams, from complete beginners upwards, or the lessons can just be for fun.

“If you are in a band (or would like to be in one), why not make use of our band-mentoring scheme? Whatever your taste in music, our tutors will help you bring your musical ideas to life. You can get expert guidance as well as rehearsal and recording time in the studio.”

‘I got Rhythm’ Music School is opening in Moira Mews on August 15, with a week long summer scheme for 11-19 year olds, which will bring together musicians and singers to form bands, learn song writing skills, and record onto CD.

Enrolment for the Autumn term is now also underway. For further details or to make a booking please contact Sean at [email protected] or call the Music School on 07939 811 58.
