Teacher retires from Ballymoney Model

Mrs Joan Crymble who taught in Ballymoney Model for thirty-five years retired at the end of the Summer term.

Mrs Crymble took up her duties in the school on 1st September 1976. At a special assembly in the School on Wednesday last, the school presented her with garden furniture. A programme of music was presented by all the children and by the children who went to her Scripture Union Club after school. Mrs Crymble’s closest colleague at the school, Mrs Murphy, commented on the professionalism and integrity displayed by Mrs Crymble throughout her teaching career. Mr McVeigh also thanked Mrs Crymble for her long and loyal service to the school. Mrs Crymble’s husband William was also present to enjoy this lasting tribute to his wife.
