Lagan Valley Urgent Care Centre to close for bank holiday
The South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust has advised local people that the Urgent Care Centre at the Lagan Valley Hospital will be closed on Bank Holiday Monday, August 31, 2026.
The ‘Phone First’ Urgent Care Centre in Lagan Valley Hospital will be closed on the August bank holiday and will open again at 8am on Tuesday September 1, 2026.
The Trust has advised anyone who needs urgent care during this time to contact their GP Out of Hours Service or attend an Emergency Department.
The Emergency Department at the Ulster Hospital will be open as normal.
The Urgent Care Centre at the Ulster Hospital will be also open as normal from 8am until 6pm. Patients are not required to Phone First on the August Bank Holiday.
The Downe Hospital Urgent Care Centre and the Downe Hospital Minor Injuries Unit will both be open as normal on Monday, August 31.
