Gerald Degnan, from the charity, explained: “This week the foundation received a massive boost from the Quay Bikers MCC with almost 300 selection boxes and a massive amount of new toys. The bikers also donated £1,500 to help secure the future of the Eilish Degnan Cancer Foundation and the work it carries out on behalf of the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.

“The Quay Bikers all got stuck in fundraising and paid a surprise visit to the foundation last Sunday morning. It was fantastic what the guys at the club did, and it was just great to see them all on a cold, wet morning, It’s definitely a family thing as there are people or all ages and all together to support us.

“I’m very thankful to everyone in the club and everyone who helped them with their fundraising. I think we’ll be hearing a lot more from the Quay Bikers MCC supporting the Eilish Degnan Cancer Foundation.”
