DISCOVER THE ULTIMATE 'STAY-CATION' WITH STENA LINE AND HAVEN

'The Stay-cation is here to stay' according to Haven Holidays which has once again teamed up with leading ferry company, Stena Line, to offer customers the chance to enjoy a fantastic family break close to home.

As early booking figures indicate that many people from Northern Ireland will be holidaying in Britain this year, Stena Line is offering self-catering breaks for families of up to six people from as little as 225 for three nights including return ferry crossing and mobile holiday accommodation in one of nine Haven holiday parks in Scotland, England and Wales.

With parks that include indoor pools, kids clubs, family entertainment, shops and restaurants as well as luxurious accommodation in a range of mobile units, there is something for all the family to enjoy without breaking the bank. And with centres such as Craig Tara in Ayr just a short drive after a comfortable sailing onboard the Stena HSS or Stena Navigator, holidaymakers can avoid the inevitable queues and hassle that can occur when taking the family further afield.

Stena Line UK Communications Manager, Nigel Tilson understands that cost and value for money are key issues for customers booking a family break this year.

"Now more than ever, we understand that people are not only looking for inexpensive family holidays, they also want value for money. With the chance to pack all the family and everything needed for a great break into the boot of the car, Stena Line customers need not worry about the hassle and expense of baggage charges and weight restrictions and once at their destination, can enjoy a range of additional services and activities on offer in the cost of a Haven holiday."

Haven's popular Learn2Swim sessions will be free of charge this year, giving all ages the chance to boost their confidence in the water and even little ones can take part with special 'Mother and Baby' sessions. Celebrating World Cup year, football coaching will be free giving Beckham and Rooney-wannabees the chance to improve their technique. Other activities at no extra cost include 'Wake and Shake,' Annabel's Creative Kitchen, swimming sessions and use of the flumes and slides as well as the regular Kid's clubs. Entertainment includes pantos, wrestling, circus performances, character shows, nightly music, dancing and cabaret.

"With so much fun to be had so close to home, it is hardly surprising that many people are opting for holidays in Great Britain this year. We are offering a low deposit rate to secure a 2010 holiday of just 150 and we would advise customers to book early in order to ensure that they get their first choice of destination and accommodation at the right price on dates that suit," adds Nigel.
