266 landowners affected by A6 dualling

Over two hundred and fifty landowners will be affected by the proposal to dual the A6 from Londonderry to Dungiven, according to the Roads Minister Michelle McIlveen.

Another 126 landowners will be affected by the dualling of the same thoroughfare between Randalstown to Castledawson, bringing the total number of affected property holders north and south of the Glenshane to 392,

The figures, which refer to farmers, homeowners and industrial landowners, reveal approximately 38 will be affected by the Dungiven bypass.

Approximately 104 landowners will be affected between Dungiven and Claudy; approximately 83 landowners will be affected between Claudy and Drumahoe; and approximately 41 landowners will be affected by the Drumahoe to Maydown section.

That brings the total number of landowners affected on the section of the A6 north of the Glenshane to 266.
