A taste of life in Sweden for Maze Brookfield ladies, as Camilla Law tells of her travels

Maze Brookfield WI President Ann Whaley welcomed everyone to the February meeting including Camilla Law who was guest speaker for the evening.

Camilla gave everyone a wonderful insight into life in Sweden, where she was originally from. She also shared experiences of her travels to Israel, Iceland and Africa.

Camilla brought along some delicious Swedish pastries and biscuits which everyone got to sample. It was a most interesting and informative evening enjoyed by everyone.

Ann thanked the Quiz Team who were June Gordon, Marion Gordon and Catherine Watson for taking part in the recent Area Quiz and also Hilda Law for taking part in the Bowls. A vote of thanks was given by Heather Wylie. Competition winners were Margaret Montgomery and Helen Dunlop. Ballot Prizes were won by Joyce Brown, Hilda Law and Rosemary Boyes and the birthday girl was Connie Walker.
