At approximately 10.10pm on September 17 last year, a 33-year-old woman was walking in the area when a man approached her from behind, grabbed her and demanded money.

The woman struggled and screamed and the man made off empty handed and ran in the direction of Alexandra Avenue.

“At the time the man was described as being aged in his late teens or early 20s, about 5’10 tall, of slim build and was wearing a maroon coloured hooded top and blue jeans.

“I would ask anyone who may have information relating to this image or the attempted robbery to contact Larne Police Station, quoting reference number 1245 of 17/09/15.
