Attempted burglary at pensioner’s Portglenone home
Police are investigating an attempted burglary in the Clady area of Portglenone and are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed anything.
Constable Rab McGeehan said: “ At around 4.30pm on December 5th, a caller purporting to be from the council called at the home of an elderly person.
“Suspecting this was not a genuine caller the householder closed the door and locked it. We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed anything as we’d like to identify this caller.
