Artur Szymanski from Donaghmore Road, Dungannon had been accused of assaulting a female on February 29 this year, as well as damaging her CD player.

The case was listed for hearing at East Tyrone Magistrates Court last Wednesday, but a prosecution lawyer stated she would be offering no evidence.

District Judge John Meehan dismissed both charges.
