Castlerock Scouts walk for Haiti
MEMBERS of Castlerock Scout Group have stepped out to raise funds for the earthquake victims of Haiti.
Early on Saturday morning, April 17, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Leaders, committee members and some parents took part in a sponsored walk which took them through Coleraine to Portrush to Portstewart back through Coleraine and back home to Castlerock for 7pm.
Along the route there were stations where the younger ones could join in and walk their chosen distance .
Over seventy members of the Group took part. Two Cub Scouts, one Explorer Scout, five Leaders and two committee members completed the 28 mile course.
